1.1 Stanson Entertainment Limited t/a PLAYZONE (‘Promoter’, ‘our(s)’) operates various skill-based competitions resulting in the allocation of prizes in accordance with these terms and conditions on the website (‘Prize’ or ‘Prizes’) www.play-zone.io (the ‘Website’) – (each and all such competitions being referred to herein respectively as the ‘Competition’ or ‘Competitions’).
1.2 Competitions are open to persons aged 18 or over who are resident in Great Britain. Employees of the Promoter are restricted from participating in the Competition.
1.3 The Promoter reserves the right to close a Customer’s account at any time, if they feel the Customer is abusing the services, being abusive to other Customers or staff or they have the belief that it is not genuinely the Customer that is entering.
1.4 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse a Customer’s Entry at the Promoter’s own discretion.
1.5 These terms and conditions apply to all Competitions.
2.1 By entering a Competition, you confirm and agree that you have legal capacity to do so, you agree to have read and understood these terms and conditions and you will be bound by them and by any other requirements set out in any related promotional material.
2.2 Competitions are governed by English law and all and/or any matters or disputes relating to the Competition will be dealt with and/or resolved under English Law and the Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
2.3. In the event that you participate in a Competition online via the Website, and by accepting these terms and conditions you hereby confirm that you are not breaching any laws in your country of residence regarding the legality of entering our Competitions. The Promoter will not be held responsible for any Entrant entering any of our Competitions unlawfully. If in any doubt you should immediately leave the Website and check with the relevant authorities in your country.
3.1 Competitions may be entered via the Website. The Promoter may run multiple competitions at the same time and each Competition will have a specific prize.
3.2 Availability and pricing of Competitions is dependent on the decision of the Promoter, the price will be specified at the point of sale on the Website. There is no obligation to pay for an entry to any Competition as every Competition has a free entry route available. See below for further details on how to enter a Competition for free. Having the availability of the free entry route to enter each Competition means that the Competition does not fall within the definition of a lottery under the Gambling Act 2005 and can be legally operated in Great Britain without the need for a licence.
3.3 In order to be eligible for a competition, you will be asked to register an account with us (even if entering for free). You can register an account online at www.ply-zone.io
3.4 To register an account you will need to provide a valid email address.
3.5 When playing a Competition online via the Website, follow the on-screen instructions to: (a) select the Competition you wish to enter and when you are ready to purchase your Ticket(s), provide your contact and payment details. You will need to check your details carefully and tick the declaration, confirming you have read and understood the Competition terms and conditions; (b) once you have purchased your Tickets, play the Challenge when your payment has cleared we will then contact you by email to confirm your entry into the Competition.
Please note that when entering online and/or by post you will not be deemed entered into the
Competition until we confirm your Ticket(s) order back to you by email.
To enter any Competition for free you must first create an account on the website then send your: Name, Address, DOB, Email address and Contact phone number along with the correct answer for that competition on a postcard not enclosed in and envelope to the Promoter. Free entries to be posted to: Stanson Entertainment, Gemma House, 39, Lilestone street, London, UK, NW8 8SS and must arrive before the Competition closing date. First or second class postage must be paid. Postal entries are limited to one Entry per competition per postcard, with a maximum of only one entry per competition, if more than one entry into a single competition is received only one entry will be counted. The entrant must specify the competition they want to enter. A random number will be allocated to each free entry by the Promoter. All free entries are treated in the same manner as paid entries. Where applicable these terms and conditions will also apply to free entries. All free entries are processed on Monday’s of each week.
3.6 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any incomplete Entries if it has reasonable grounds to believe that an Entrant has breached any clause from these terms and conditions.
3.7 To the extent permitted by applicable law, all Entries become our property and will not be returned.
3.8 Per each competition you can enter up to 250 entries excluding postal entry which is only one entry per competition.
3.9 The competition closes when the last number is taken, no more entries after this point will be accepted.
3.10 If the Number of Entries to the Competition does not meet the maximum number of entries at the closing date, the draw will still go ahead regardless and the prize will be offered.
4.1 It is your sole responsibility to keep your account password secure and safe at all times. You must try memorising your password, don’t share or tell anyone your password, never write down your password, never store your password on your phone or computer devices or record it in any way/ any place that someone can understand what it is. You should try and make a password for your account that is not easy for anyone to guess, try avoiding using names or dates of birth. It is your sole responsibility to ensure your account has been logged out once you are finished entering a competition to prevent someone using your account.
4.2 The Promoters advise you keep your log in username and password to yourself and tell no one, nor friend/family your log in details, to prevent access. You must use a password that is memorable and unique to yourself.
4.3 You must contact the Promoter if you suspect/ believe or are certain that someone other than you has/ had access to your account without your permission, or if you suspect/ believe that anyone other than yourself knows or may know your password.
4.4 The Promoters shall not be responsible and/or liable for any/and or all consequences arising out of and/or relating to any breaches of these rules.
4.5 If you forget your log in username and/or password you can reset these by following our reset details link on our website. You will be asked to provide relevant security information requested by the Providers to reset this and ensure it is you.
5.1 Each Competition will run its own promotions for a specified period. Please see each competition for their own details of starting and ending dates. For more information regarding the promotion period, you can contact Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Competition Judgement
6.1 Our random ball spinning machine will determine the winner of each competition by releasing numbered balls. In the event of the ball machine not being available, the online Google Random Number Generator will be used.
6.2 There will only be one winner per competition unless otherwise stated by the Promoter.
6.3 After the Winner has been decided, the Promoter will attempt to contact the Winner(s) via the telephone, email address or social media that was provided by the Entrant at the time of registration (or as subsequently updated. It is the Entrant’s sole responsibility to check and update these details. If for any reason they are taken down incorrectly, the Promoter will not be held responsible. Entrants should carefully check their contact details have been recorded correctly at the time of registration.
6.4 If for any reason the Promoter is unable to contact the Winner within 5 days (which may be extended at the sole discretion of the Promoter) of the end of a Competition or the Winner fails to confirm acceptance of the prize or the Winner is disqualified there will be a re-draw minus the previously disqualified entry.
6.5 In the event that the Promoter closes a Competition early, the Winner will be selected from all valid and eligible Entries received by the Promoter prior to the date of closure.
6.6 The Promoter reserves the right, to close a Competition early without selecting a Winner. In the event that a Competition is closed without selecting a Winner, the Promoter will give all entrants credit to enable them to replay equivalent tickets in a subsequent competition.
6.7 All Entrants are automatically entered onto the Promoter’s database for the purpose of conveying information as to the status o as any future Promotions or Competitions offered by the Promoter.
6.8 If the Number of Entries to the Competition does not meet the maximum number of entries at the closing date, the draw will still go ahead regardless and the prize will be offered.
- Winner’s Details
7.1 Proof of identification will be required by the First Prize Winner upon delivery of the prize. Should this requirement not be met, the Promoter has the right to
disqualify the Winner. In such cases, the prize will be in the possession of the Promoter.
7.2 Winners will be required to provide photographs and/or pose for photographs and videos, which will be used to identify them as the Winner. Additionally, these photographs and/or videos may be used for marketing purposes. Failure to do so may result in the winnings being null and void. In such cases, the prize will be in the possession of the Promoter.
7.3 Upon fulfilling the above-stated requirements the Winners will be contacted in order to make arrangements for the prize.
- Competition Prizes
8.1 Our competition prizes are selected by the managing directors of the company and are owned by the promoter from the date of the competition going live on the website to the date that the winner receives the prize.
8.2 Details of each prize can be found on the website on the competition’s pages. We take no responsibility for the prize awarded after delivery, once the winner receives the prize the promoter does not insure the prize. No insurance comes with the prizes and the promoter cannot be held responsible for the prize once handed over to the winner.
8.3 Delivery of the prize is free of charge. Should the winner request the prize to be delivered to a different address from the one stated when they applied then the Promoter has the right to charge a delivery fee. Prizes can only be delivered to addresses within the UK mainland.
8.4 All entrant expenses are the sole responsibility of the Winner(s).
8.5 The winner hereby agrees that all prizes are subject to and are conditional on the terms and conditions of the Promoter, Prize provider, manufacturer and/or supplier and/or anyone that is involved in the provision or delivery of the Prize to the Winner.
8.6 Each Prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable or convertible to other substitutes and cannot be used in conjunction with any other vouchers, offers or discounts, including without limitation any vouchers or offers of the Promoter or other prize suppliers.
8.7 After notifying the Winner(s), the Promoter can store the prize free of charge for up to 30 days. If the Promoter needs to store the prize for longer than 30 days then a fee will be applied and must be paid before the prize is received.
- Electronic Communications
9.1 For any failure of electronic communication due to partial or garbled computer transmissions, computer, telephone, cable, network, electronic or internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, availability, for the acts or omissions of any service provider, internet accessibility or availability or for traffic congestion or unauthorised human act, including any errors or mistakes, the Promoter nor We will hold no responsibility.
9.2 The Promoter will to its best endeavours award the prize for a Competition to the correct Entrant. If due to reasons of hardware, software or other computer related failure, or due to human error the prize is awarded incorrectly, the Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the Competition prize and award it to the correct Entrant, at its sole discretion and without admission of liability.
9.3 The Promoter shall not be liable for any economic or other consequential loss suffered or sustained to any persons to whom an award has been incorrectly made, and no compensation shall be due. The Promoter shall use its best endeavours to ensure that the software and website(s) used to operate its Competitions perform correctly and accurately across the latest versions of popular internet, tablet and mobile browsers. For the avoidance of doubt, only the ticket recorded in our systems, howsoever displayed or calculated, shall be entered into the relevant Competition and the Promoter shall not be held liable for any competition entries that occur as a result of malfunctioning software or other events.
- Data Protection Notice
10.1 Acceptance of the prize by the Winner will mean they are required to have their photo and video taken by the Promoter for promotional purposes (Public Relations and Marketing), both immediately after their win and for future use.
10.2 By entering a Competition, you agree to the use of your name, address, and/or photograph or other likeness, as well as your appearance at publicity events without any additional compensation (save for reasonable travel expenses) and as required by the Promoter if you are declared a Winner.
10.3 Any personal data that you provide to the Promoter or authorise the Promoter to obtain from a third party, for example, a credit card company, will be used by the Promoter to administer the Competition and fulfil prizes where applicable. In order to process, record and use your personal data the Promoter may disclose it to (i) any credit card company whose name you give; (ii) any person to whom the Promoter proposes to transfer any of the Promoter’s rights and/or responsibilities under any agreement the Promoter may have with you; (iii) any person to whom the Promoter proposes to transfer its business or any part of it; (iv) comply with any legal or regulatory requirement of the Promoter in any country; and (v) prevent, detect or prosecute fraud and other crime. In order to process, use, record and disclose your personal data the Promoter may need to transfer such information outside the United Kingdom, in which event the Promoter is responsible for ensuring that your personal data continues to be adequately protected during the course of such transfer.
10.4 By agreeing to these terms and conditions you authorise us to process and store your personal data and to transfer it to the Promoters, in order for us and them to be able to offer you the service we have agreed upon.
10.5 We will take all necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, however, due to the nature of data protection, we cannot guarantee the security of your information. In case of a data breach, we will notify you immediately and take all possible measures to protect your data.
- Limitation of Liability
11.1 The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability of any of the goods or services offered as prizes. Except for liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Promoter, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained to person or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods by any person to the prize Winner(s) and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying the Winner(s), or in connection with any of the Competitions promoted by the Promoter.
12.1 If any provision of these Terms is deemed to be illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the enforceability or effectiveness of the remainder of these Terms will not be affected, and these Terms will be enforceable without reference to the unenforceable provision.
- Amendments and No Waiver
13.1 These Terms may not be modified, amended or supplemented except by a separate written document executed by both parties. No term and conditions of these Terms shall be deemed waived and no breach or default excused unless such waiver or excuse shall be in writing and signed by the party issuing the same.
- Force Majeure
14.1 We shall not be deemed to be in default of any provision hereof or be liable for any delay, failure in performance, or interruption of service resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, civil or military authority, civil disturbance, war, terrorism, strikes, fires, other catastrophes, power or telecommunications failure or any other cause beyond its reasonable control.
15.1 The Promoters may revise and/or change some terms and conditions from time to time, the most current version of terms and conditions will be on the Website at all times. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are up to date with these terms and conditions to ensure you have a clear understanding. By continuing to access and use the website after these changes have been made, you therefore agree to be bound by the revised terms and conditions. We may also change/update the Website page from time to time and reflect changes to our offers.
